O Mātańgī, Who has
a dark complexion, Who possesses auspicion in hands, and Who is bowed upon by
Sarasvatī! Salutations to You.

O
Mīnākṣī, Who manifests in various names and forms, Who
impels the heart of Nārada and other sages, Who pleases the mind of the
Lord of the beautiful-Moon (Śiva), Who is beautiful, and Who is the Mother of
